9th By-Election in 9th State

There we go again! Another by-election for Pakatan Rakyat to test their ground has just appeared with the death of BN's assemblyman Azman Md.Noor, the incumbent of Bagan Pinang, a small Malay concentrated constituency located in the south of Port Dickson. With issues of Hindu temple in Selangor and Kg.Buah Pala still looming around, this breaking news was indeed a karma-come-around slap in the Election Commission's face for favouring BN in the Perak constitutional crisis. New Malaysian Terms After 8th March Political Tsunami

The March 8th political tsunami had made a big impact for Malaysians until new words were coined up. I got this from email circulars which I think is really funny. From Permatang Pauh to Parliament

Congrats Dato' Seri. Next stop - Putrajaya. Make sure the crossovers will take place. You said the 16th. That was merely 3 weeks shy. I was hoping that it will happen. Anyway, good luck in serving us and we are hopeful that you could fulfill your promises just like what you have promised us in your series of ceramahs and PC's, not only for the folks in Permatang Pauh (PP) but the entire rakyat of the nation. Your warcry outrun (and outsmart) the BN machinery though they came with an army...

What was seen as a drastic approach has caused the toll to the rakyatl. Petrol increased to RM2.70 (+78sen) from previously RM1.92, and diesel increased to RM2.59 (+RM1.00) from previously RM2.58. The ironic thing about all this is DPM Najib 'assured' Malaysians in February 2008 that there will be no increase after the general...

Bloggers Classified

So now the govt has interrupted the all-peaceful and tranquil cyber world of blogging, and for that the govt has come up with a set of 'commandments' though not official, but I am dubious whether or not to cry or to laugh on this 'decree' issued by our 'God'. Zainuddin Proposes Classification Of Web Bloggers May 05, 2007 18:29 PM KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) -- Information Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin said today Malaysia has to classify web bloggers as professionals and...
