Cat & Dogs For Food Banned in China

Eating dogs and cats–which is an age-old delicacy in China–could soon be against the law. It’s the nation’s first law against such animal abuse. Currently, dog and cat meat is viewed as promoting bodily warmth. But if the law passes, people who eat either animal could face fines of up to $730 or 15 days in jail. Organizations involved the practice would face fines up to 100-times as much. “I support this proposal. Whether you judge this as a question of food security or emotions,...

My EPN Terminated

I received a termination email today from EPN. They told me that I am not driving them any traffic. Yes, I admit part of that was true. My only sole blog that runs on EPN is my real estate blog and that blog was hacked few weeks ago. Not only they managed to temper in my account but they also manage to delete the whole posting that I have done over the years. My SQL database for that blog was literally wiped out. I managed to google for the perpetrator's hideout and those punks had...

Our beloved Perak MB, Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaluddin was involved in an accident on the 7th. His Camry (not Zambry) overturned while trying to avoid a Volvo driven by a lady driver at a junction while on his way to a nearby clinic. And for the Chinese, a car driven by a prominent figure overturning is hot news. Hot is not because of Nizar or his car but is his car's plate! Today mom tried to buy some mapiaw (lottery) that I suggested which includes Nizar's car plate - 3 combination (not gonna...

Youtube To Be Televised Soon

YouTube, the colossal video site with a scale owned by Google, is going to be on our screens soon. They will be channeled and televised whilst maintaining their presence online. Youtube before Google's acquisition, started off as a small video sharing site founded by a trio, who were ex-staffs of Paypal; Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim. This decision was made taking into consideration the daily frequency of Youtube users. Good move. “Our average user spends 15 minutes a day on the...
