Thursday, 3/12/09 - Woke up early around 8am. After doing some bathroom routines, we went to the marina office to get my own internet access to the marina's wifi. The access cost me RM18, for the whole week. These smart asses does not allow internet access sharing for a single account. That is why all attempts to use Dave's access the day before was proven futile.

Wednesday, 2/12/09 - Woke up nearly 10am, rushed to the marina office bathrooms to 'clearout'. Quickly grabbed some slippers from Petronas store then we had a quick breakfast at Telaga Harbour KFC. Morning was free and easy as we chilled at the yacht doing some mundanes.

I frequent Google everyday for my searches and researches and I am a big fan of Google products. Today I have discovered from some tech blogs that Google had a new interface. I was abit skeptical at the beginning as this used to be a rumour before. It seems like Google really did a make-over on their search engine interface making it fast-loading thus streamlining the performance.
To be honest, I am not a big fan of Microsoft products. I have long ditched IE before anyone else. I opted for Open Office and ditched Office 2007 too. The only problem comes to actually sharing (files) them with friends and contacts; majority of them uses MS Office. So like it or not, I got to have a working copy in my PC for bowing down to the majority's sake.
I was in the midst of testing Magento as required by a client as my 'offered' expertise in Wordpress and Joomla does not tally with the client's requirement of a solid ecommerce package. Wordpress win hands down for the best experience in blogging with superb SEO capabilities and Joomla excel in being a versatile CMS minus the SEO aspects of it, but both platform does not suit my clients' ecommerce needs.
Today, I can't help by not looking at the contents of this email that TMNet sent me. It was a competition organised by PKNS. Surprised eh? The competition is all about playing with our creativity in coming up with a new name for an upcoming township of
Crackerjack with a penchant for Malaysian politics, mecha-collecting, outdoors, gardening, good food & urban music. A social-libertarian inclined economically left (leftist). Down coffee more than an average household consumption. Internet and computers are my life-line for survival.
