Mundane matters - lame for some, nauseatic for others.
Mood: Delite-fool
Current Jam: Let It Rain [33 The Great]
Company: Dave, CJ, Gina & Tim
Prologue: Charged my batteries, emptied my CF’s, get the backups ready & cam ready to roll!
It drizzled when we ‘ran’ to the Hoe. Arrived a bit late - 15mins before the first blast. Much packed compared to yesterday. Lots of people brought along poncho, chair & tents. Even the grassy slope towards Madeira Rd was full of people. The atmosphere was awesome. I reach to my exact same spot as yesterday cos arriving late, had not much choice of location to shoot though. I had something handy this time, CJ lend me his tripod to shoot.
I placed my tripod on the Citadel wall ruin - it was uneven surface but luckily the tripod was retractable up to 3 levels. After getting the tripod balanced, I mounted the cam & tune to my settings. The spectators in front of me was so cooperative enough to have stand further so that they are not obstructing my view (thanks!)

may: thanks again, im just an amateur using a poin-n-shoot camera. no DSLR ler..
sharon: thanks babe. i use only Canon Powershot A95 - a point-n-shoot digicam only. But i use custom settings for this instead of using built-in function.

hmm i need to learn to configure my own settings for the camera cause the built in function simply sucks!

for fireworks, recommended settings are;
ISO = 100
Shutter = 2″+
Aparture = f8.0+
