Berkshire Weekend (Day 2)

Not much on Day 2 as everyone was subsequently having hangovers the next morning. The initial plan was to set-off to Windsor Castle or visit Legoland, but it became all-talk-and-no-actions as everyone was busy lazying around. So we ended up having breakfast; a simple and quick one cooked by Soomi. Bwahahaha..hahahaha...muahahahah - that was L.O.U.D! What the white guys are havin... My modded Thai soup. Kinda nice though not authentic I had some Thai soup and some cake while the...

Berkshire Weekend (Day 1)

I've never been to Bracknell and this is my inaugural trip all because of visiting Soomi, Joerg and Ivy, who lives in London now. The planned visit was actually to attend their joint-birthday. It was scheduled to be a week earlier but due to many hiccups that Dave and me had during those weeks, we cannot make it and therefore, they had them postponed to the 29th. We traveled past midnight on Friday, and drove for 3 hours before arriving at Soomi's place. The journey was long, quiet and dark...

Countdown To Moonies

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to ya'll mooncake freaks. Let us all sing an ode to the babe in da moon, Miss Chang Er. Hope ya got a nice life in da moon always. Oh, yea. Neil Armstrong says hi to you and your crazy bunny. Any of you suckers munching mooncakes while reading my post? I am not, but I did few weeks back. But I already gobbled up around 6 moonies since last month, and the latest, 4 moonies in 2 days around 2 weeks ago. I personally like all moonies as long they don't come with...

Photo Dilemma

On my way home from work I stopped by at the minimart to buy some stuff. As always, I will grab a copy of my favorite computer magazine Micromart before proceeding to checkout. To my disappointment, the mag was sold out today. Feeling unsatisfied of not being able to grab any readables, I intentionally browsed through the neighbouring shelves randomly on almost any magazine just to try picking some potential substitute, and after few minutes struggling with my indecisiveness, my hands landed...

Hooked On Ghost

I was never a fan of tactical shooter game as I have always been a fanaticist of only strategy games but Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) instantly hooked me up thanks to Dave, the devil of all gaming. It was quite sometime now since I have been doing some gaming as I myself not an avid gamer, just seasonal. The last game I played was Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War. Have completed all the campaigns and even played multiplayer games with Dave, I went hiatus for while by not touching any...

Duck Farm Riot

Quack! Quack! This news makes me aware of how aliens are behaving as if they own that motherfucking place. To be honest, I have lost touch of my hometown affairs for quite sometime now until... IPOH: More than 20 men, believed to be Indonesians armed with sticks, iron rods and parang, created trouble at a duck farm in Bidor, about 80km from here, last night after two of their friends were caught for stealing ducks. Perak deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm (I) Datuk Hadi Ho Abdullah...

After 50 Years?

..what have become of us? The police force from the small players up to the big players are all infested with corruption. Chief of police are good tongue twisters next to your soap artiste, our supposedly 'cream of the crop' agency, the ACA is no different. The judiciary system fails with VK Lingam's secret video leak. Our second most senior minister was indirectly involved in Altantunya case. WTF? And the latest, a 12 year old girl murdered and stuffed in a gym bag!! I wonder how Malaysian...

Memories of Grandpa

September is one of the month of moments for me. One of them was the 16th, which was the anniversary of my late grandpa's passing. It was 14 years ago I remembered when I was 15, just few more weeks before sitting for my PMR exam, our family received a sad news from the doc saying grandpa was diagnosed with a cancer, and had no chance for a cure or to live. It was too late as the diagnosis was carried out during its very chronic stage, so the hospital can't do anything about it. We were...

Faraway Guests

May, & Seon with their newly arrived bro, Jun Xiang arrived in Plymouth today to find accommodation in Plymouth. They stayed overnight in Dave's place and since I am having my off on Sunday as usual, it was the best time to meet up. It was nearly a year since we last seen each other. We went to our usual hangout, the China House overlooking the Sutton Harbour for a quick lunch and 'ice-breaking' for JX and the gang. With the Tan's here, we have had lotsa action archived in photos. They...
