Random Pics: 30/7/07

Was so bored that I wonder around and captured the avenue of the neighbourhood where I lived. These shots are tested during mobility, i.e. movements. I tried to skyscrap the buildings but somehow, it didn't turn out well. It failed to convince audience as if it was originally a high-rise build up. More avenues and more randoms; Robbin's skyscraping Blurred by movements. Rush Hour article. Macroed on mag page. Daft. My first test using N95's very own edit ala PS...

The Simpsons Movie

Believe it or not,I have been watching the Simpsons more than 10 years now! UK and Malaysia, both ways I enjoyed the show and seasons though it was rerun few times but it was so entertaining to watch again that i don't even mind they repeat some seasons. Simpsons eventually made it to the cinema big screens and was released on the 27th July, which was my birthday. To be honest with you, this year's birthday of mine was in fact being surprised by 2 of my favorite show of all time -...

Random Pics: 28/7/07

Some randoms again with some horsey theme. Well, it was just a day after my birthday anyway and the theme does relate to my zodiac. Was born in the year of the Horse, therefore was trying some shots on this orangey-salt moulded-horsey using the natural light and soft-shoot effect. To get average crispness on your N95, shots try not to use any flash at all. Use macro (Close-Up Mode), disable flash, image setup change to cloudy so to 'lie' the focal mechanism to behave as if you have no...

…To Me

A year older today. Damn, I'm old...as gold? This year was the dullest as not many friends left here in this town. Until this post was written and updated there's no sign of any parties going on. Transformers was officially out in UK today. Though seen it during the preview weekend, I'm all up for the 2nd round soon this week. Woke up at 11am. Do the same boring work. Meet the same boring people, boring workplace, boring weather. Yea, is rainy, but thank god it wasn't flooding like...

Hacked & Defaced

My TransMY site was hacked and defaced today, thanks to a Turkish coward. I was pretty surprised of how it can happen when the CMS that I was using (Joomla) was supposed to be quite robust in dealing with security compromise like this. I was wrong to conclude that Joomla was littered with exploits and backdoors in it’s coding that has resulted to this attack when I was enlightened by the official Joomla forum that announces a possible compromise that was caused by 3rd party add-ons. In my...

Transformers 2007

"With the Allspark gone, we cannot return life to our planet. And fate has yielded its reward, a new world to call home. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret… waiting, protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage and though we are worlds apart, like us, there’s more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting." - Optimus...

Transformers Preview in UK

Bloody fanboi speaks! Yeap yeap, we are the next one to feel the heat of the movie. Its UK's turn! I know its slow, and by the time of this writing, I bet most of you has already seen it multiple of times. But heck, I'm not gonna let my knowledge of the movie spoilers spoil my enjoyment. I'm not an anti-spoilers like some getting hysterical just because their story plot or climax was leaked or make known to them. Anyway, who cares? I'm just gonna enjoy the show and have lotsa lotsa TF lovin...

Random Pics: 21/7/07

It was just before the downpour I took some random snaps on these; Not sure what is this plant, but the leaf is like polymer! Back to the subject, here are some gothicy pic, shot in low light, low exposure. Scary cloud shrouding Church in backdrop adds the goth...

Cybertron Down II

TransMY was down again. The last I logged was an hour before midnight. Upon loading the page, I was shocked to be greeted by error 402. Sensing something wasn't right, I checked my FTP. Fortunately my FTP was still functional, but I was sadden that my webserver was empty. The only remaining file and folder was found was a com_expose component in the component folder. I was surprised and appalled for the first time in my webmastering years, something like this could have happen. I would...

3 Days of Blackout

Nothin much to do during my Pt.2 leave. So I unboxed Blackout and took shots of him for 3 days starting the 15th, 17th & finally 19th. Honestly speaking, most fans adored leaders like Megatron more than henchmen, but in my case Blackout standout as the most interesting and well-developed character in the movie though being just a small-role playing henchmen. Thats why I so damn wanna own him as being one of the biggest badass frying up SOCCENT in the movie which was darn cool. The...

Harry Potter: Order of Phoenix

Director: David Yates Genre: Adventure/Fantasy Starring: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), & Jason Boyd (Piers) Plot: With their warning about Lord Voldemort's return scoffed at, Harry and Dumbledore are targeted by the Wizard authorities as an authoritarian bureaucrat slowly seizes power at Hogwarts. I ain't big fan of HP series but the reason of me watching it was merely driven by curiosity. Always has been ever since HP...
